Description: This 1776 Georgia note features ornamental borders plus a red and black typeset design. There is a dark green seal of Justice encircled by the latin motto “SUSTINE RECTUM” (Support what is right). This seal was applied by a separate overprinting during the manufacture of these notes. The green seal is much scarcer than the blue variety. Stunning note with exceptional paper, very high eye appeal for the grade. Incredible tough to find this nice. Additionally this note was a part of the iconic Eric P. Newman Collection. An incredible addition for any elite collection.
