This woodcut was printed circa 1960 for the Collectors Press founded in 1896, also known as the Collectors Guild of New York. This is an original woodcut printed from the original woodblock. Printed in black ink on thick cream tone wove paper: image size: approx. 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches: sheet size: 6 3/8 x 5 1/2 inches: signed lower right in the block. Original 1960s gold leafed frame with linen mat: frame size: 9 1/2 x 8 1/8. Some very minor areas of retouch to the frame, and a faint watermark to the mat on this one, but overall an excellent piece.
