Description: This console has the following modifications installed: Pluto IIx HDMI Board w/ GCVideo v3.1 – Replaces the digital port's native component output with HDMI. Outputs in color-rich, brilliant 16x9 480p, on any computer monitor or flat screen television. Includes internal menus for line-doubling, scanlines, and more. Menu is accessible by holding L + R + X + Y for 3 seconds. Navigate GCVideo menu with X + Y. GCVideo-DVI v3.1: GCVideo DVI interfaces from the signals on the Digital Video Port of the Gamecube to a DVI video signal. It targets a few FPGA boards specially developed for it by third parties as well as the Pluto IIx HDMI FPGA board from KNJN, which is only recommended for development purposes and not for end-users. Features direct digital video output with no analog intermediate for best quality optional linedoubler to convert 240p/288p/480i/576i modes to 480p/576p optional scanline overlay with selectable strength hybrid factor SPDIF digital audio output user-friendly on-screen configuration on-screen menus controlled with a Gamecube controller or an IR remote control (certain boards only) auxillary analog video output Limitations Linedoubling of 480i/576i modes looks very ugly. If your display accepts these modes directly, it is recommended to not use linedoubling for them. The primary target of the project is the DVI output, the analog output (if available) is purely a "bonus feature". Some DVI output settings may disable certain analog output options. Although GCVideo tries to make the output signal as standards-compliant as possible, some homebrew software uses video parameters that are too far away from normal video standards to correct them. Such homebrew software may not work with some displays. GCVideo does not attempt to read the capabilities of the display, so it is possible to set the output to something that the display does not support, resulting in a corrupted or no picture. 3.5mm Gold-Plated Audio Jack – Added to the rear I/O of the console, allowing for external audio, headphones, or Bluetooth transmitters. This was conceptualized after a customer needed a solution for a Super Smash Bros Melee LAN party with 4 consoles; they needed to use headphones to hear audio on their console while blocking external audio out. NTSC-U/J Region Switch – Alternates console region from NTSC-U to NTSC-J and back. Changes console menu text from English to Japanese and back. Allows console to recognize memory cards initially formatted in either region. Battery Holder Mod – Replaceable battery holder and new CR2032 are added to the controller port PCB, assuring another 20 years of life for the system clock battery. Custom BLUE LEDs – We replace your factory power LED. We also add LEDs to the wells of your controller port PCB, illuminating them. Backlit LED Fan Upgrade – Replaces the OEM GameCube fan with a German made Noiseblocker BlackSilent 14dB, 50mm upgrade. A glow-in-the-dark 3D printed bracket is made, and a wiring adapter is created. LEDs are installed to illuminate the fan assembly from within the console during power on. NB-BlackSilent Fan XS-1 50mm One of the most popular and best sold Ultra-Silent-Classic-Design fans since 2005. Constantly developed and enhanced. developed in Germany silent NB-NanoSLI® bearing NEW! silent NB-EKA P2 Drive NEW! Makrolon® rotor with anti-dust technology reinforced fibreglass PBT-frame 50 cm cable with high-quality textile sheath NB-slics for vibration-free assembly SD2SP2 – Micro SD card reader installed into Serial Port 2, for use with Swiss and various other interface programs. The SD2SP2 PCB allows a microSD card to plug into Serial Port 2 on your GameCube. SD2SP2 is supported by the latest Swiss update from Extrems and Emukidid. Recapped Optical Drive – Sometimes the optical drive can fail, causing the console to stop reading disc media. Replacing the capacitors on the optical drive PCB fixes this problem and ensures another few decades of use before requiring another service. Listing is for console only. No cords or controllers are included. Any additional items, such as SD cards, will need to be purchased separately. Will ship in USPS Medium Flat Rate Box with insurance and tracking number.
