Description: Well.... It was tough taking the pictures let alone writing this description. This IS my unicorn dream bike. Around 2004 I started collecting titanium bicycles and went through the entire gamut from early Clark Kents, DEANS, so many Merlins and Litespeeds but this one, this super obscure Fuji always eluded me, until 2020 when it finally happened. This very unique and amazing Fuji Titanium in the very rare "smaller" size was an absolute dream for me to acquire. It came from a vintage bicycle shop in Massachusetts from the original owner who purchased it brand new in 1988 and only rode it on very special occasions. Judging from the condition of the original suede Fuji saddle I think it checks out that this bike has seen very very little use. I think I took it to an even crazier extreme and have only logged 50 miles total of riding over a 4 year period. I had the complete Dura Ace 7400 groupset on the bike and loved it so much that I transferred it over to my current vintage road bike. I do not know what the original seatpost was for this bike, I used a 26.6 Dura Ace and it's currently being sold with a vintage 26.6 fluted Kalloy. In my research I have seen these bikes with 26.6 Campagnolo seat posts as well. Front fork is the original titanium Fuji paired with a Dura Ace hidden bolt stem , complete with original top cap. The brand new Panaracer Pasela tires were just mounted to the Dura Ace hubed debadged Mavic CXP 12s, so tires have not had any riding use. Frame specifics. Comes with additional Fuji branded period leather saddle in case the pristine original saddle is to be left unridden. Writing this I'm convinced that I will continue holding on to this bike because it is just so amazing and rare, but who knows there might be someone who wants it even more than me.
