This Flashpoint XPLOR300 Pro / Godox AD300Pro version of Flashpoint Color Correction Gels extends this technique to the portable monolight. Wedding photographers can freeze the motion of energetic dancing or candid sweeps while allowing the available light record in the background. Location photographers can greet the challenges with ambient light within open spaces. The foreground and areas illuminated by flash at 5600K and the backgrounds are random color temps, usually with tungsten, fluorescents, or LEDs. Applying a Flashpoint Color Correction Gel to the XPLORfs tube blends the flash color to match the ambiance balance, without resorting to additional heads or sky-high ISOs to capture the scene. Filters in the kit include 1/4, 1/2, and Full CTO to subtract a blue cast from the image or to use the warm color temperature creatively. The 1/2 CTB and Full CTB filters compensate for an excess of amber light, while the 1/2 and Full Green filters balance the flash with most fluorescent lighting.
