Description: You are bidding on a 1940's vintage, important and rare, Evita Peron portrait Sarape from the great Zacatecas workshop in Mexico. This 80-year-old, wool garment shows very little wear. The woven area measures approximately 45" x 89". The fringe at top and bottom adds another 8" in length, at both ends. The Sarape is double sided, showing Evita posing to the right or left depending on which side you are viewing. There is not a back side, per se. Condition: There are No bug holes or stains. All weaving is tight and intact. We note a very small spot of glue or something, just below the portrait, in the dark red stripe. (see photo's 5-7). Some slight repair to the fringe and tassels at the top and bottom of the sarape would add additional value; however, this is left up to the buyer's discretion. What you see is exactly what you get. We have done our best to show details, condition and colors accurately. This item will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail, Insured with tracking. Shipping may vary based on your location. We're assuming that shipping will be around $30, if less, a cash credit will be forwarded via PayPal. If any more than $30, we will make up the difference. Thanks for your understanding on this. Our goal is to cover our costs on shipping and no more. Thank you for bidding and Good Luck! MikeSellsHistorySorry, No International Sales.
