Easy to grow from seed, these work best if sown over the surface of the seed raising mix and not covered (the seed is small). For best results, these seeds should be sown soon after arrival, onto a well-drained seed raising mix at any time of the year, and keep moist. Keep at between 15 and 20°C. Germination usually occurs within 4 to 6 weeks although may take longer. No pre treatments are required for this Eucalyptus species.This is one of the main Eucalyptus species used for the Eucalyptus oil extraction. The oil has a multitude of uses and is antibacterial and protects from most other harmful bugs. As an essential oil, it clears the mind and opens the airways.You have the option of sending via regular air mail or expedited shipping. If you need a tracking number, please choose the expedited shipping option even though it is more expensive, because if you opt for regular mail, I cannot provide tracking. If your address is in South America, Arabian Peninsula or Africa you MUST choose expedited shipping. Normal mail often does not seem to get to these destinations from New Zealand.
