Description: Here is a Vintage Limited Number and Signed Hand-Printed Multi-Colored Etching by Swiss Painter Ernst Linck (1874-1935). It is printed on paper (date unknown) and copyrighted by Stehli Brothers Ltd, Zurich, Switzerland. It is pencil-signed by Ernst Linck, #208 of a limited edition, and titled Luzern-Kapellbrücke. (The Kapellbrück is a covered wooden footbridge spanning the river Reuss diagonally in the city of Lucerne in central Switzerland. It serves as the city’s symbol and as one of the country’s main tourist attractions.) This fine example of early 20th-century European art is in VERY GOOD CONDITION (as shown in the photos). The etching itself measures 5 x 4 inches and is printed on paper measuring approximately 8 x 7 inches. Passed down from my wife’s parents, who traveled to Europe in the 1960s and collected historic artwork, it has been stored in our closet for over 40 years. I have provided photos of the print both framed and unframed to show how it might look if framed; however, the frame is not included. This vintage artwork will be carefully packaged without a frame.
