This bulb may continue to operate normally or it may need to be replaced soon. At some point the projector will let you know by flashing the lamp LED and ceasing to work. This has not happened yet so you may get a few hours or a few hundred hours out of it before the bulb needs swapped. No way to know. No remote, but it does include a power cord. There may be some minor marking or other minor imperfections. Nothing glaring though, these all look pretty good. You can plug this in to any HDMI or VGA source or use a specifically formatted USB flash drive and put videos on that to run as a playlist.
