It is water resistant which makes it perfect for a variety of composite applications including boats and surfboards. It is important that the room, resin and surface area are all 75-80 degrees. -Make sure surface is prepped and free of dust or other contaminates before mixing epoxy. -Accurate measuring is very important. This 2:1 epoxy is measured by volume. -Thoroughly mix for 3-5 minutes making sure to scrape the sides and bottom of container. -Apply with fiberglass roller, brush, squeegee or spreader. -Wear appropriate safety clothing Storage: -Store epoxy resin in cool, dry area. Fast hardener- Quickest cure with a gel time of 10-15 minutes in 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Medium hardener- Most popular hardener with a gel time of 20-30 minutes in 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Slow hardener- Longest working and cure time.
