Our tools are precision bored to the exact specifications that rigorous testing and research has proven to fit the early M44 with the round sight base. Manufactured in 1943 and 1944 and some 1945 rifles, if your M44 has a round sight base this is the tool that you need to adjust the sight. Our push bolts are sourced from a racing supply company and actually meet the standards for use in NASCAR. Before being installed, each is trued and the ends squared to make certain it meets the sight perfectly to make sure they don't damage your collectible rifle. NO need to remove the cleaning rod either, and you can also use the tool to completely remove the front sight for cleaning or installation of a premium front sight. Once all inspections are done, each tool is given a satin finish to provide an even gripping surface, then bagged in a heavy-duty 4mil zip-lock type bag, along with the needed hex wrench and step-by-step instructions.
