Description: Up for sale is an El Bus De Escalera Chivas/Ladder Bus Colombian Folk Art ceramic handmade model with phenominal details. Bottom label reads: "El Bus De Escalera: This "ladder bus" is rural Columbia's chief form of rural transportation. Used to carry everything from tourists to livestock, the double-decker is taxi, delivery truck, school bus, and even ambulance for the "campesinos." The artist signed their name on the inset on the lower right side. On the top of the bus is a bag of coffee beans, a black toddler, 2 dogs, a pig, lumber, 2 men, spare tire, barrel marked poison, milk can, chicken, boy climbing ladder on back of bus. It weighs .83 lbs, is 6 1/2" long, 2 1/4" wide and 3 1/2" tall. The interior of the bus has a coffin, a priest, the driver, 2 dogs, a goose and 7 other people. Three Turbana Banana stickers were used on the bus. I believe the artist's name is Mario Hernadez C.
