Description: EERIE COUNTRY / WEIRDBOOK ENCORES 1 set of 10 copies W. Paul Ganley: Publisher The 10 copies available include Eerie Country numbers 2 through 9 and Weirdbook Encores #11 and #14. Condition: very good, as originally produced, except for #5. #5 had to have some extra pages printed so copies of this issue are stapled whenever it is purchased; some of the pages may look slightly different from the others! These issues were published back around the ‘80s and ‘90s as supplements to WEIRDBOOK and are 32 pages in length. They contain stories originally accepted for WEIRDBOOK, but I was overstocked with material and vastly understocked with money to pay for printing them. Somewhere in my bundles of boxes issues #12 and #13 may be hiding, waiting to jump out at me (on Halloween perhaps) and laugh. If they ever do appear I will add them to this entry. # 10 (known as the Weirdbook Sampler) may also appear some day, but #1 has been gone for ages. The name change from EERIE COUNTRY to WEIRDBOOK ENCORES came about when my bank was annoyed because I kept depositing checks (from subscribers) that looked like “Erie County” (I live in Erie County, NY).
