Description: This is a 2008 Charvel EVH Art Series guitar that was hand-striped, played live, and autographed by Eddie Van Halen. This particular guitar, number 258, was used by Eddie on May 25th, 2008 at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI. It's an amazing looking guitar with the classic 'Frankenstein' colors of red with black and white stripes. There is a YouTube video online of Eddie using this guitar during the song I'll Wait, unfortunately the videographer was far away from the stage. However, there are a few times you can see the guitar on the bottom part of the big screen behind Eddie. See the link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cm23NEaTiMQ This of course comes with an 8x10 photo, and two 11x14 photos of Eddie playing it on stage and the Certificate of Authenticity signed by Eddie. Also included are some EVH strings, picks, neck strap, and black canvas tote bag. All of this comes in the original black EVH Art Series case with the EVH logo embroidered on the inside. The following is an excerpt from the now long gone EVH-guitars website from 2007: "Edward Van Halen is proud to continue the offering of the very limited edition line of the EVH Art Series Guitars. Each guitar is a one-of-a-kind work of art personally created by Eddie. Each of these EVH Art Series Guitars will be hand striped and autographed by Eddie, and verified by a photograph of Eddie playing the guitar live. In addition, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Eddie will also be included. To showcase and protect these one-of-a-kind guitars, each one comes with a specially designed and distinctive guitar case." Here's your chance to own a unique piece of rock history!
