Description: Item appears to be a vintage Deardorff 5x7 format view film camera, probably from the 1930s-40s. It is difficult to precisely date Deardorff cameras. A number were produced with no signature/ serial numbers. The Deardorff name tag is an obvious replacement. Lens is a Schnieder Angulon 1:6.8/ 165MM. Shutter appears to work well, and lens appears free of debris or haze. Camera has 4X5 reducing back., which can be rotated, by rotating entire back panel. The camera does come with lens mentioned above, and 2 front lens boards. The bellows appears to be newer with no light leaks. The camera is complete, all controls work smoothly and body is clean. There are slight signs of wear to the nickel plating (see photos for reference). Generally in good condition, controls work well. The tripod hole has been replaced with a brass unit.
