This listing is for an E. Rousseau alto saxophone mouthpiece. This is a 1st generation version of the "Classic" model. These were designed by preeminent classical saxophonist Eugene Rousseau. This is an excellent step-up mouthpiece for the advancing player. It is made of hard rubber, not plastic. It has flat inner side walls and a medium oblong chamber. The 4R facing has a tip opening measuring .065". This mouthpiece is in very good physical condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth, and there are no tooth indentations on the beak. The rubber shows mild fading/discoloration, but the logo is perfectly clear. There is no ligature scratching/scuffing on the exterior. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.
