The numbers match both the inner wooden box/ paper & the outer original Howard sales box. The watch is in the original Howard hard wood case & the original numbers do match the "Howard Watch License" paper on the inside box with matching movement numbers and case numbers. This watch is in superb condition, keeps times, winds as should, sets with no issues, the original bow, crystal & crown are in ex excellent condition. The extra beautiful silver Howard signed dial is in great condition for its age, with few tiny age dots bur have to look closely. The blue steel hands are in great condition. This case has no wear to the brass, no dings, dents, or scratches. The physical & mechanical conditions are very close to almost new, and the balance poise is excellent and steady beat. It has been adjusted to 3 positions and even temperature adjusted. Even with the age of the watch, you can still see the original factory finish on the 14k white gold filled and E Howard Boston signed case.
