Description: For sale is a mid-century modern (early '60's) Kipp Stewart Design "Declaration" highboy dresser by Drexel. It is 60 years old and is still in remarkable condition, with just a few very light marks. This Declaration dresser (801-410-2) is made of nice hardwoods and the outer sides and top have a beautiful thick laminate of solid Walnut. The top/left drawer is missing the off-white change/small items plug in cup. and one of the large drawers does need a little attention, as the bottom wood guide is cracked. It can be repaired or replaced, although it still closes fine (photo #8). There is also a bit of drawer rub from the small uppers on the first full drawer. The cabinet, including legs, measures 45" tall by 34" wide and is 20" deep. The white round drawer pulls are beautiful white porcelain and are backed with a shiny brass ferrule. The upper right small drawer has a divider. The first large drawer has 2 dividers, and the second large drawer has 1 divider. Full size drawers 3 & 4 are fully open inside. Based on the condition of this piece I would rate it a solid 8/10. Local sale, pick up only!
