Dept 56 A Christmas Story The Fire House 2005 Works Lights Up READ

Description: 2005 Dept. 56 A Christmas Story, "The Fire House". This appears to be an earlier version of this building as it has attached plastic bows and "bottle brush" wreaths, not molded ceramic ones. Item measures approximately 8.25" high and base measures approximately 5" x 5 1/2". Missing original outer box and all packing materials, but will be carefully packaged in a Styrofoam box inside a cardboard box for clean storage and safe travels to its new home. Item has been used and does show wear. Chimney has been repaired and there are missing chunks here and there (picture collage # 17 as well as other, larger pictures). The "decorations" box on right side of base is missing (picture # 18). There are 2 missing plastic bows (picture #s 19-20). There are glue strands and faux snow here and there (picture #s 10-12). Light cord has been tested and does light up although it is unknown how many hours the current bulb has been used or how long it will last. Item has been dusted with a soft toothbrush, but was not very dusty at all. Item is generally clean, but as this is a used item, should not be considered pristine and new owner may wish to do further nook and cranny cleaning/dusting/polishing.
