Description: Beautiful Delphine porcelain Demitasse Cup and Saucer with a blue and white almost 'fleur de lys" design accented by a hand painted gold trim. Both the cup and the saucer are in extremely good condition with no fading or scratches apparent. There is evidence of some gilt loss along the top edge of the cup, but these are minimal and do not deter from the overall appeal of the item. Delphine was the trade name of the Hudson and Middleton Pottery,established in 1941, and used until approx. 1947 when the company changed ownership.
