Great DnD gift. It's for players who play a spell casting class of some sort (like a wizard). Normally, you have a set amount of spell charges for each spell level you can cast. So for example, you may have 4 charges of level 1 spells, and 3 charges of level 2 spells. If you cast a level 1 spell, you have to keep track of how many charges you have left. So you'd erase "4" in your notes and replace it with "3". After awhile, that's a lot of writing and erasing and your paper is going to look rough. So to make it easier, this has a 6 sided die in each slot. When you cast your level 1 spell, you can just flip your die from "4" to "3" and carry on. Doesn't take up much room on the table, and has tiny rubber bumper feet for extra grip. All high end hardware, nothing cheap. The feet screw into the metal post instead of the wood so they won't break off or damage the wood. The spell tracker is made up of 3 layers. The top is walnut plywood, the middle is clear acrylic, and the bottom is maple plywood. All laser cut. The wood is finished to a semi-gloss finish and is smooth to the touch. Held together with custom metal and screws that compliment the look. No glue used! Precisely cut to fit any standard d6 dice (dice holes are 16.5 mm).
