Description: The Daiwa Ultimate Tournament Drag (“UTD”) Grease, is a light, synthetic oil based lubricant that is designed specifically for use in Daiwa reels that come with their UTD system. The UTD Grease is formulated with a high concentration (30%) of PTFE that exhibit characteristics of low friction, high water resistance and high heat resistance, which when applied onto a UTD drag washer, translates into incredible drag smoothness, absent of any jerkiness or stickiness. Packaged in a 15ml tube, the Daiwa Ultimate Tournament Drag Grease comes as a white colored compound that has good spread properties, making it easy to apply into a thin film over both sides of the carbon drag washer. As a general guideline, carefully remove all dirt and salt deposit from the reel’s carbon drag washers. Dispense an amount equivalent to the size of 3 grains of rice and spread evenly for each side of the drag washer.
