Description: Cute 1953 Wendy doll from Madame Alexander dolls. The doll features a solid, heavy hard plastic body with a light complexion and beautiful blue eyes. The doll is tightly strung and will hold a pose. She does have one leg that is lighter than her other leg. I do find a small seam separation under the sock on the foot. She has retained a touch of her original peach cheek coloring, lighter on the opposite side and lip coloring. Her wig is original to her and is triple stitched. She is wearing a cute pair of white organdy bloomers, white socks and a pair of off white velvet smooth bottom side snap Mary Jane's. Some discoloration and minor tears on the shoes.
