Description: This set of two lovely Currier & Ives foil prints depicts the beauty of " Spring at the Homestead " #S.180 and " Roadside Mill " #S.186. The prints measure 8 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches (Fit perfectly on an 8x10 mat as they are shown resting on an 8x10 black velvet mat in photos.) The prints will come unframed and without mats and were produced in the United Kingdom.The production technique is foil art. Please note: These were found unprofessionally glued to velvet mats, and their frame was falling apart. To free them from their unsightly mounting, I removed them from the velvet as carefully as I could. In the last 2 pictures you can see where during this process print was indented a bit, not pushed through however and there is black remnants of the velvet on the back of each print. Imperfect but very rare works of art!
