Creative Illustration is considered Loomis's magnum opus, which was aimed primarily at the professional level illustrator. Divided into seven sections: Line, Tone, Color, Telling the Story, Creating Ideas, Fields of Illustrations, and Experimenting and Studies, this book is filled with instructions, tips, insider experiences, and incredible illustrations. This oversized hardcover is in good condition as it has been protected by a dust jacket. The dust jacket has a small tear on the top left of the spine and just to the left of that tear is another small tear. There is some edge wear on the dust jacket that has created some bending on the top edge with a small amount of creasing. The dust jacket has light scratches and scuffs. The covers of the book are in good condition. The spine has light rub marks. The interior pages are mostly in black and white and have no writing, tears, or other major damage.
