Crank Brothers 5050 Platform Pedals - 9/16” Axles

Up for sale is this used set of Crank Brothers 5050 Aluminum Platform Pedals with 9/16” cromo axles for use with three Peice cranks. These are the Red & Gold set however one of the Gold plates has been replaced with a black plate on the right pedal. This was done before I got these pedals. However you can still purchase new plates for these pedals here on eBay. Someone is selling a brand new set of red plates for these 5050 pedals. You can even still purchase the replacement grip pins for these pedals as well as the replacement bearing kit. Pretty much you can rebuild these pedals. These pedal are used and do show signs of usage for sure but are still in good condition. These pedal go for over $100 new so here’s a chance to get a nice used set for half that price. I mean pedals are pedals. You put your feet on them and ride. It’s more about functionality than looks I’d say. These pedals were removed from a mountain bike I bought used over 10 years ago. I removed these and installed my own pedals. These have been in storage ever since. One of the pedals spins pretty freely (Left Pedal) while the other one doesn’t spins freely (Right Pedal). However it does still move or rotate on the 9/16” chromoly axle. I found these in a box of parts while cleaning out a storage unit of mine. These have been in storage over 10 + years ago.
