Description: Lovely brown transferware piece by Copeland Spode showing a "Plover". Interesting pattern with the scallopped border, dotted rim, adorned with a surround of flowers and the Plover strutting in the center. This is number 7 in a game bird series. I am not sure how many are in the entire set but it appears to be at least 12. Collect all of them! It would be a wonderful collection to display in your special place lined up in different patterns.... Condition: no chips, no cracks, no utensil marks, no crazing, clean and bright colors, you might find a light scratch but not easily visible to my eye, well taken care of.
