Original Conant & Ball paper label on bottom of seat, with its 138 & 140 Richmond St. Boston, address. Chair has unusual three-spindle design with balls at the top and bottom of each spindle. See photos. Original rich reddish maple patina. Chair is “as found.” Chair is reasonably tight with no damage or missing pieces. Height: 36-inches Depth: 16-inches Seat width: 15.5-inches Weight: 9-pounds, 5.7-ounces We are not Conant & Ball experts. We could not find this chair in our usual Internet search. It is quite simple and charming in design; almost Amish or even Art Nouveau in spirit. If you know this chair please let us know.
