The 17mm open end has the sides ground down. The 18mm is painted red on one side and gray on the other and for no apparent reason as it is not rusty?These are used but in very good shape. None are sketchy or unreliable looking aside from the ground 17mm but it should function just fine and it being skinnier may come in handy one day. I have listed other sets which are complete, and one listing with just random small sizes including duplicates.I am not a tool dealer. I don't usually hang at the street corner saying "Psst! Hey Man, I gots that good CHROME-CHROME". Not only am I not a tool dealer I don't know much about them besides that Craftsman is a famous name and the older "made in the USA" ones are of super good quality" and have a lifetime warranty. Please note that I don't handle warranty claims and don't know anything about the warranty process, so maybe forget that I mentioned a warranty.
