They are hardy and live well without harming their co-habiting insect friends while also prolonging time between cleanings and maintenance. The larva of this beetle can be used as small feeders, they are essentially very small mealworms, great feeders for small animals, small spiders, anything that is small and needs a small feeder to eat.
