Description: Relatively rare pouteria fruit species that produces some of the best fruit from the entire family. When fully ripe, the soft, creamy flesh of the cinnamon apple tastes much like vanilla pudding with a hint of citrus. Very sweet, creamy and delicious! The flesh attached to the rind can also be eaten, and has a completely different taste and texture reminiscent of pears with milk. We’re always thrilled to find and eat these, and share them with others! These should be moved up to 3 gallon pots upon receipt, and grown for another season before planting in full sun in the ground where they belong.
