This is an OEM camshaft that comes standard on Non-DOD 5.3L trucks. Since these come as single bolt cams, a new timing gear wont be necessary. Swap cams and additional DOD removal parts and you're ready to roll! A fairly stock truck shouldn't require dyno tuning, however the DOD system must be disabled in the ECU for proper functionality. Consult with your tuner for additional information! If you are unfamiliar with needed parts to complete the DOD delete, message us!
