Description: For sale is an empty Celestial Seasonings tin for the Specialty Tea Collection. This large box has a removable lid decorated with three panels, each with a different illustration including two girls in a strawberry patch, elephants as pack animals, and a girl with her dog on a golden prairie. The lid is titled with Celestial Seasonings in blue with gold outline on black background; a blue banner with gold text reads "Specialty Tea Collection." The front exterior has three images: picking blackberries in woods, basket with peppermint sticks, and a long-hair woman on a swing in country landscape. Each end panel is a single view: woman at the seashore and a magician & unicorn. The rear panel is a quote from Mary Russell Mitford: "What happiness to sit on this tufty knoll and fill my basket with the blossoms! What a renewal of the heart and mind." The empty box is in very good condition with no damage and some gentle wear. There is minor paint loss on the interior rim from use of the lid (photographs 14 & 15). The lid has one small dent at edge (photograph 16). The box has a slight indent from production at the seam where it meets the bottom. There is a small spot on the bottom (photograph 17).
