All thermal paste replaced with Arctic MX-4.All thermal pads replaced.All NEC TOKIN capacitors replaced.CMOS battery replaced.Interior and exterior of system fully cleaned of dust.Firmware updated to version 4.91.Fully tested for functionality. What makes this PS3 special? Both the CPU and GPU have been delidded and had all original thermal paste replaced with Arctic MX-4. This will allow the PS3 to expel as much heat as it possibly can while running as quietly as it did when it was brand new. In addition, all of the thermal pads have also been replaced which will prevent various other components from overheating. Replacing all of the NEC TOKIN capacitors will provide the CPU and GPU with clean power for many more years to come. The Panasonic low ESR capacitors installed are designed to be used in applications such as video game consoles, high end graphics cards, gaming PC's, etc. A new CMOS battery will ensure that your PS3 will not forget the time and that you'll be able to play your digital PSN content without any issues for many more years to come. All functionality of this PS3 has been fully tested and confirmed working. This includes Bluray, DVD and CD discs, as well as USB, HDMI, AV, Optical audio, Ethernet, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity. Please note that this model PS3 is only backwards compatible with PS1 discs. PS2 discs will not run on this model. Every interior component has been cleaned of dust.
