Description: The Ibanez GIO is an affordable guitar — but you wouldn’t know it from looking. Its eye-popping maple top gives it an expensive look that belies its price tag. But the GIO isn’t about looks — it delivers killer sound to match. Its poplar body supplies a resonant, balanced-sounding base for your tone. Beyond that, a versatile duo of pickups delivers a range of fierce, high-output tones. As for playability, you’ll love the smooth, fast action of this guitar’s neck. Engage in serious dive-bombing and other whammy acrobatics with the GIO's standard tremolo.Smooth-playing, fast-action neck enhances your speedA guitar is only as playable as its neck — good thing the Ibanez GIO has a smooth and fast-playing maple neck. This comfortable neck is capped by a jatoba fingerboard with a super-flat 15.7" radius and 22 medium frets, giving you the agility to execute fast single-note runs with ease.Dive-bomb with this guitar's tremoloFrom huge dive-bombs to subtle vibrato to stutter-like warbling, the Ibanez GIO's tremolo is ready for anything you throw at it. When not in use, the tremolo is solid and in tune; when in use it does your bidding down to the microtone. Whether you need the trem for cool '50s-era dips or massive metal dives, the Ibanez GIO is ready.BODYBody Type: SolidbodyBody Shape: GioBody Material: PoplarBody Finish: Gloss PolyesterColor: BlackNECKNeck Material: MapleNeck Joint: Bolt-onRadius: 12"Fingerboard Material: JatobaFingerboard Inlay: White DotsNumber of Frets: 22, MediumScale Length: 25.5"Nut Width: 1.653"Nut Material: PlasticHARDWAREBridge/Tailpiece: T106 TremoloTuners: Ibanez Closed GearELECTRONICSNeck Pickup: Ceramic HumbuckerBridge PickupI: Ceramic HumbuckerControls: 1 x master volume, 1 x master toneSwitching: 3-way blade pickup switch--------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is “-Cashified-”? You say. I’m Glad you asked: As you probably know, most(maybe 99%) of Strats come with boring white pickguards, pickup covers, knobs and selector switch-tip. When I get a guitar, I replace the pickguard with a more interesting one, and replace the pickup covers, knobs and selector switch-tip with either chrome or black. In some cases, I replace the chrome tuning knobs with black ones: some folks prefer those. I also make similar improvements to Teles, LPs, P and J Basses & Ibanez Guitars And I have some guitars and basses labeled "Cashner"..These are unbranded guitars that I buy, "Cashify" and then resell. Folks seem to like them, I have sold about three dozen so far… ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
