Description: Up for sale is a fantastic, signed and numbered print titled "THE ADVOCATES" by well known and listed artist Carole Sue Lebbin. It is pencil signed by the artist, in the bottom right hand corner. It is also pencil numbered 5/25 in the bottom left hand corner. . Carole Sue Lebbin (Spector) was born in 1948 in Washington, D.C.. She has been creating imaginative works on canvas and paper for many years. She studied at George Washington University, Washington, D.C., the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., the Tyler School of Art, Rome, Italy and the Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA. Ms. Lebbin has had her art exhibited in many galleries over the years, including, the Orchard Gallery, Bethesda, MD (2009), University of Maryland, College Park, MD (2006), Karen Lynne Gallery, Boca Raton, FL (2006), Gallery 500, Elkins Park, PA (1997), Wenniger Graphics, Boston, MA (1989, 1988), Stone Press Gallery, Seattle, WA (1984) and Dimitrial Gallery, Princeton, NJ (1975) - and many more! Her work is well represented in museums and private collections around the world. The print is on white card stock paper, it has a cream colored mat and is covered in plastic. The mat measures approximately 18" x 15". The actual print measures approximately 13" x 9", including the border area. Overall, the print is in Good Condition. It is matted, but not framed. There are lots of stains in the border area of the mat, but I believe that they are all on the plastic and not on the actual print. I don't see any significant condition issues on the actual print area. However, I cannot see the border area and the edges because they are covered by the mat. The print has beautiful tones of black, grey and white. It is a very nice print - an excellent investment and a superb example of this great artist's work - a perfect piece for any collector!
