Description: Healthy Pets Start With Healthy Feeders! Bug Jelly™ is our innovative fresh fruit and vegetable supplement for frugivore insects like roaches, crickets, millipedes, flightless fruit flies, and even some fruit eating lizards like crested geckos. Each jelly is packed with ripe fruits and vegetables preserved in our semi firm gel. Our jellies last for weeks.. even months in a warm humid enclosure without molding or spoiling which makes them the ultimate replacement for fresh fruits and veggies when you don’t have the time to replace spoiled food on a daily basis. In addition to lasting way longer than using fresh produce, our gels won’t melt even in enclosures that are kept well over 90℉. They provide an additional source of moisture and the smell and soft texture is irresistible to your feeders. Special note for larger colonies: These jellies are in easy feed cups designed for small to medium sized colonies. If you have a colony that is 12000+ please contact us regarding bulk pricing discounts. Minimum quantities are required for bulk orders. Should I buy 2oz or 4oz cups? If you have a small colony of under a couple hundred roaches, the 2oz cups will be perfect. Really small colonies can be given half of a 2oz cup and store the rest in the refrigerator until needed. If you have a very large colony of 3000+ the 2oz will not last very long and you'll want the 4oz cups for sure. Colonies that fall in between ( a thousand or so ) will require some trial and preference to be sure. These easy feed cups are not meant for extremely large colonies as they will eat through them way too quickly. Please contact us for bulk pricing if you have a 12000+ colony. Minimum quantities are required for bulk orders. What if my insects don't like it? If you are concerned that your insects won't like our jellies we can arrange a free sample ( you just pay shipping and transaction fees of $3.99 ). We can include samples of our Roach Chow as well for no additional cost. Contact us through ebay messages and we can create you a custom sample order! What does it smell like? Bug Jelly™ naturally smells like its strongest ingredients. We don't use artificial colors or flavors so the smells are true and natural to the fruits and veggies contained in the jellies. Why do my strawberry jellies vary in color?Bug Jelly™ contains absolutely no artificial colors or flavors. Because we don't "dye" our jellies - you are seeing the natural color of the strawberries as they setup in our gel formula. These can vary from batch to batch and even cup to cup over time after they setup so the colors might vary from a bright red to a deep dark red. The jellies contain the exact same ingredients and your bugs will love them all the same! Why isn't there a bunch of added vitamins in your food? This is by design. Every reptile and amphibian species has its own unique needs and in many instances common vitamins will be harmful to certain types of pets. The natural levels of these vitamins in our ingredients is safe but artificially adding additional vitamins can be disastrous. A prime example is the bearded dragon, which is highly sensitive to Vitamin A. The natural amounts in plant matter are safe but if we added additional Vitamin A, the gut loaded roaches or crickets wouldn't be healthy for a beardie. What pets can eat insects gut loaded with your Bug Jelly™? Some of the most popular pets that benefit are Bearded Dragons, Leopard Geckos, Chameleons, Tarantulas, Praying Mantises, White's Dumpy Tree Frogs, Dart Frogs, and most other species of frogs and toads. Although not spoken about as often, gut loaded Dubia roaches and crickets are also great for some rodent species as a supplement but NOT staple food source such as hedge hogs and hamsters. You shouldn't purchase a large quantity of roaches and food to start a colony until you know for sure that your rodents like them though it varies.
