Description: This OKO carburetor kit is for BSA 650s (A65) with a single carburetor, as the Thunderbolt, or Lightning with a Thunderbolt head, as in the photos. It contains all you need to convert from the original AMAL, including a flange adapter. You should be able to use your stock throttle cable, as free length needed is the same. For the dual carburetor heads, you can use two of these kits. There is a 10% discount when ordering two. They are available in black or metallic. Both the 28mm and the 30mm work equally well on the A65s, with the 30mm giving a bit more top end. We use the 28mm since it provides more top end already than we like to use on these old bikes. The OKO will provide smoother idling and running than the stock carburetor as well as better throttle response and more power, especially noticeable in the low and mid-ranges. Please note that these are genuine OKOs and not one of the Chinese copies that currently flood Ebay. We are a distributor for the OKO factory in Taiwan.
