Description: These candle holders belonged to my parents and perhaps their parents. I recollect them being lit when I was a kid. That fellow Ebayers, was a long time ago! I believe them to be brass (though I am no expert). They are heavy. There is a hallmark on the base (wax catcher?) it appears to be Cyrillic. I can't read it, but it makes me think that these were from Russia (that would make sense based on my family history). If any of you Ebay experts have more information, I would love to know more. I have NOT cleaned the holders so if you want to take off the vintage patina that is up to you. There is a bit of wax still remaining in the candle wells. About 6 1/2" tall and about 3 1/2" wide at the base (widest point). The base unscrews from the candle towers. On one of the holders at the top edge has a “ding” (see photos). Please look at all the photos and if you need more, just ask. Also, ask any questions before you buy. I try to describe everything the best i can. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
