Description: For sale is BLUE MITCHELL with Stings and Brass: "Smooth As the Wind," on Riverside RLP 9367, Stereo, DG, 1961. With Benny Golson conducting. Featuring Clark Terry, Julian Priester, Tommy Flanagan, Charlie Persip, Philly Joe Jones and others. SOUND: EXIt has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is very nice! There is a little light surface noise here and there, completely routine and minor. A very good playback! VINYL: VG+Vinyl of both sides is in nice condition. Routine handling and wear-marks. on both sides. Nothing feel-able. Black "mike-n-reel" labels have routine spindle marks. Plays a bit better than it looks! JACKET: VGThe top seam is split halfway. Otherwise solid all-around with moderate wear. There is some writing on both front and back covers. Otherwise good condition. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. Buy-it-now for $18. Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
