Graphics The dark and sanguine style of BloodRayne owes a nod to movies like Blade II and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. With a combination of tight leather and gratuitous gore, this game is definitely aimed for an older audience. The acrobatic moves are well-animated, but a few hiccups in the framerate disrupt the action. Environments are appropriately gloomy, with few visual cues to point out important items. Fortunately, a mission compass helps direct you to the next objective. BloodRayne is action-packed and stylish. A wide variety of weapons and attacks makes battling hordes of enemies interesting, but blurry textures undercut the otherwise eye-catching graphics.
