Description: Blacksmith 1 1/4 lb Straight Peen Hammer Head. Measuring 4 13/16" long, the face is 1 3/8" in diameter, the peen is 1" high, and this weighs 1 lb 5 1/2 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in decent condition and was cleaned. There are some dings and bits of light patina overall on the head. The face has some deeper dings and some wear around the edge. The peen also has some wear and light chipping on the one side. That could stand a good dressing. I did spend some time cleaning some mushrooming on the inside of the eye, I guess that this guy has been on and off more handles than that battle axe mother-in-law of yours... Just saying. This ain't pretty or perfect, but it will get the job done. A working old hammer for your anvil and forge for sure!
