Description: Beautiful rare 8 “ x 10” crystal clear type one photo of Celtics NBA Hall of Famer Bill Sharman during the 1952-53 season. He was also was a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team organization from 1950-1955. He’s in the NBA Hall of Fame as a player and also as a coach. Sherman won 15 championships in his career as a player, coach and executive. You would be pressed to find a nicer playing days photo as this one. These vintage photos came from the collection of Len Hollreiser. In the 50s, 60s and 70s Hollreiser used them to help create the art for his daily comic feature This Day in Sports, a daily series of photorealistic historical athlete portraits. More than likely there is a comic done by Hollreiser out there with this famous sports celebrity in it.
