Description: This is a vintage antique sample of wire fencing. This sample features a Joseph G. Berthiaume & Arthur E.Barlow patent, dated March 05, 1908. This wire is called "B & B's Four Lobed Metal plate Holed and crimped"l by collectors. This is a tool patent. This is a Vertical stay. This Features a join of two round wires. Plate is four lobed a pair of two holes. Vertical wire is set under horizontal wire, and plate flattened. Stay sample is 18" in length. Wire sample shows light pitting. There are threer clamps well spaced and cut is well centered. There are no bend, breaks, or repairs. Masking tape is used to hold lines together prior to board mounting, We have listed other antique barbed wire samples, and will gladly combine multiple purchases for shipping, when paid on the same invoice.
