Description: WONDERFUL antique Art Deco sterling silver textured, engraved octagonal locket necklace. This lovely necklace features a locket/pendant that is 2 1/4” long, including the bail and tassel, by 1 1/16” wide by 1/8” deep that hangs on a very nice, vintage sterling silver paper clip style, 18” chain. This necklace weighs 16 grams altogether. The locket is octagonal in shape with a textured striation design on the front and engraved initials in an octagonal cartouche at center, “CCC”. It has a sterling silver tassel below. It has an open and close push button at top that opens to reveal room for two pictures, a lock of hair, etc. The interior is in good shape, other than oxidation and it is stamped “Sterling”. The back of the locket is simple, highly polished sterling silver. The chain is a sturdy, Italian, bright sterling silver paper clip chain with a spring ring clasp. It has a lovely, dimensional filigree heart charm attached near the locket. This necklace is in very good antique/vintage condition with no dings nor dents. It may have minor, age appropriate surface wear and/or oxidation.
