Description: For your consideration is a incredible antique passage mortise door lock set manufactured by Peck, Stow & Wilcox Co. (Pexto) in Southington Conn in the early 1900's. The mortise is # 9047. The set come with egg & dart back plates & knobs. The plates and knobs are made of wrought steel with a copper flash finish. The latch, bolt and lock body are made of cast iron, the face plate is wrought steel with brass plating. The mortise lock is in excellent functional condition - it has been refurbished - all parts disassembled, cleaned and properly reassembled. The lock is reversible - it will work with a right hand or left hand swing door. Dimensions are as follows: Face plate: 5-1/4 x 15/16", Distance between the face and center-of-hub (set back): 2-3/8", Distance between center-of-hub to center-of-key post: 2-3/16". Comes with a functioning skeleton key. Does not come with mounting screws or latch plate. Please look at the pictures carefully as they are considered part of the description.
