Description: SUPERB Antique Salmon Pink Guilloche Enamel Cigarette Case Gorgeous example of the enameler's art. Guilloche at its best. To the front is a salmon pink enamel over a machine turned base with a sunray pattern emanating from the center, the rear is not enameled and is striated with alternating plain and decorated lines. This has not been polished for years and has a few very minor signs of wear. The interior is a dull gold color with an elastic holder for cigarettes. The only marks discerned is the cryptic mark "gold cased". This case was used and there are a few minor scratches on the pink enamel, but no chips or breaks. Size is 3 1/4" 2 3/4".
