Description: Beautiful Antique European Partially Gilt 800 Silver Rooster Thimble This stunning thimble was hand made around the 1920s in Europe, probably in France, with very detailed rooster and flower repousse decor and inside gilding. The piece was originally probably partially enameled; some of the enamel is still visible around the rooster. Very good antique condition. This unique piece measures 1 1/16" long x 11/16" wide (at the bottom) and weighs 4.2 grams. Tested for a minimum of 800 Silver (80%). A very unusual and decorative piece!
