Beautiful Antique Domed Glass Floral Intaglio Butterfly Wing & Marcasite Brooch

Description: Darling antique metal, butterfly wing, marcasite and domed glass floral intaglio brooch/pin. This lovely old pin is 2 1/4” wide by 1/2” high and weighs 11.1 grams. It features an octagonal frame set with marcasites in each corner with domed glass at center beneath which is a lovely design in iridescent blue butterfly wing and hand-painted white, yellow and black floral detail. This sturdy antique pin has a working pin fastener on the back with a spring ring closure. It is in remarkably good condition for its age aside from minor surface wear and two missing marcasite stones. It is not obvious, at all, that any stones are missing. Marcasites tend to blend in, so it is only apparent that any are missing upon very close inspection. The domed glass or crystal is clean with no scratches or nicks. ***PLEASE NOTE: Any display items pictured are NOT included.*** I request payment within two days of purchase and will ship within two days of payment via USPS First Class mail.
