Description: Hello, up for purchase is a beautiful rhinestone pin from the 1950's. It's by a company called La-Rel which is a very obscure name in costume jewelry. Very little is known about it except that it began around 1953. No information is known when it went out of business. It's quite a shame because this little beauty is almost like a work of art. It's construction is complicated and done in tiers with a lot of space between the layers and the stones. All the stones are clear and are prong set in a silver costume metal. It features mostly pear shaped stones and baguettes. It only has one round stone which is rather large and in the center. It measures 1 7/8 x 1 7/8 and can be worn on the diagonal for added interest.
